PathLight protects the identities of students by limiting the amount of information that is shared about the students we sponsor. Online content is limited to the student's first name only, along with some very basic biographical information such as their age, likes and dislikes and number of brothers and sisters. We also post a modest photo and occasionally make videos of students available. Sponsors may receive additional information about a student, such as their academic status.
To protect the privacy of sponsors, we provide students and their families only with their sponsor’s first name and state (or province) of residence. We ask students and their families not to attempt to contact their sponsor directly.
